The FIA Motorsport Games will partner with ETS Racing Fuels as the official fuel supplier to the second edition of the unique multidisciplinary event, being staged later this month, 26-30 October in Marseille, France.
Recognised as the expert fuel development partner for the racing industry, ETS Racing Fuels will provide premium sustainable and classical fuels for the GT, GT Sprint, Touring Car, Formula 4, Rally2, and both the Cross Car Junior and Senior disciplines.
The company’s fuels are designed in close cooperation with leading engine manufacturers and race teams, to meet and exceed all the challenges which come with world-wide racing and regulations.
At the FIA Motorsport Games 2022, ETS Racing Fuels will be supporting teams from across the globe, with around 70 nations and 600 drivers competing for gold, silver and bronze medals across a multitude of motorsport categories.
ETS Racing Fuels recently launched its sustainable Renewablaze portfolio, made from up to 100 percent renewable components contributing significantly to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the motorsport industry.
Yann Labia, ETS Racing Fuels Global Manager, comments: “We are extremely proud to fuel and refuel a majority of disciplines at the FIA Motorsport Games. The 2022 edition is a ground-breaking event and we are excited to serve this unique motorsport competition with our premium racing fuels, our expert refuel services in the paddock and our online fuel ordering system. ETS stands for quality and service and we will do our best to make this event a great success for all.”
Anthony Comas, FIA Motorsport Games General Manager at SRO Motorsports Group, adds: “We have selected ETS Racing Fuels as a partner because they are able to offer great services and high-quality fuels with sustainable components. For example, one of their fuels contains 16 percent of biomolecules and has been used successfully in circuit racing for more than a decade. Working with ETS Racing Fuels is the right way for us to combine sustainability, reliable service and proven fuel technology at the FIA Motorsport Games.”
The event’s partnership with ETS Racing Fuels underlines the FIA Motorsport Games’ commitment to set a benchmark for the environmental management of major motorsport events. The key venue for the 2022 event, Circuit Paul Ricard has already achieved the highest three-star FIA environmental accreditation standard.
The event's environmental impact will be measured, monitored, and reduced, while the carbon emissions generated by the 2022 Games will be entirely compensated. The Games will prevent single-use plastic waste and minimise general waste through the provision of sustainable end-of-life solutions for waste generated across the event. The use of renewable energy will be prioritised, and overall energy consumption limited.
